An artist based in Berlin and Tokyo.
Through the material construction of sound and music, his work gives spatial and temporal form to the contours of the untouchable.
Skeleton of Religious Art o Skeleton of Religious Art o is a ritual performance developed in collaboration with vice head priest Dōshu Tokumoto at Ryokakuji Temple. Rooted in a traditional Shinshū Buddhist service, the work brings together shōmyō, electronic sound, and live composition within a contemporary performance framework. Centered on a musical translation of the Shōshinge and structured through the form of Sajō, the piece does not reproduce ritual as heritage, but reconfigures it as a living sonic event. Through chant, resonance, and intervention, the performance creates a listening condition in which ceremony, memory, and sound become inseparable.
